Waterstone Guitars sponsors Bleu in Kickstarter campaign
Nashville guitar company donates guitars for sponsorship packages
Nashville, July 27, 2010: Nashville guitar company, Waterstone Musical Instruments, LLC., today announced their support of indie artist, Bleu , and his Kickstarter campaign.
Bleu has recently undertaken a Kickstarter campaign to receive pledges to support the release of his latest collection, entitled Four. TO demonstrate ongoing support of Bleu, Waterstone guitars has donated several Mark Sandman tribute guitars as incentive to high-level pledge supporters.
Kickstarter is a new form of commerce and patronage, in which fans can pledge support for artist's projects. Project creators inspire people to open their wallets by offering products, benefits and fun experiences. In turn, if a project does not reach pledge amounts in full, the project receives zero funding.
"This unique funding option is changing the face of music for independent musicians, and we are glad to be a part of it," said Bob Singer, president of Waterstone Musical Instruments, LLC. "We have long supported indie musicians, and the career of Bleu. We are happy to say that Bleu's pledge campaign has more than surpassed its original goal in less than one week. We are very proud to have played any part in this successful campaign."
